Creating Spaces for Growth

I’m a teacher at heart and always have been.

I teach workshops and training both for professionals seeking growth and development in their skill and for the general public open to anyone looking to understand themselves better and have more resources that support them to take charge of their own wellbeing.

It started out in school whenever teachers would struggle to explain complicated material in a way that everyone would understand. I don’t know if it’s my love for languages, but I found immense enjoyment in translating that complexity into relatable, engaging language for my classmates.

This continues to be an essential value of mine as someone who now teaches for a living. I love depth and complexity. I also love breaking down this complexity in clear ways that honor its richness while also making it feel simple and accessible. I find that this empowers students to be able to apply and extract value from this information, as opposed to simply knowing all this fancy theory that they can’t do much with.

One of my main values is to elevate the standard of care in the wellness world, particularly in my part of the world where movement and therapy are still emerging fields. My teaching aims to create spaces that take us out of limited black and white thinking into more holistic, integrative approaches that can be adapted to meet people where they are and optimize their individual needs while acknowledging the interconnected whole.
